Ice Cream

Parlour

About the project

This project was introduced by the client who wished to scale up their father's Ice Cream business and take his vision forward.

Owing to its context of a busy highway in the front and built masses on the sides, the building needed to grab the attention of its users. This opened the door for a strong eye-catching design.

The architecture here has an art deco character to it, with a large arched entryway and a column that resembles the shape of a candy. The mesh facade with a play of circular elements adds to the architectural character. The exterior architectural character is brought into the interiors with the repetition of geometric shapes and
colours to achieve spacial harmony.
